Upstream Rapid is our new Git (and soon, Onset, our upcoming Git alternative) engine on Upstream. It handles nearly 1,800 pushes a second, whereas GitHub gets 4.7 (according to Entire's ForgeMark). Here's how it works, how it scales, and how it stays fast on giant repos such as Chromium.
